There are so many possibilities when it comes to giving or sending gifts these days, and one thing is for certain...I sure as heck, don't want to waste time and gas, then fight the traffic, to get to a large mall, where I have to have the hassle of finding a parking space, and then carefully dodge the cars that are driven by inconisderate people, who are driving like maniacs in the parking lot, and who never heard of the word "pedestrian," then get inside and deal with the crowds, noise, and chaos that ensues within the walls of the mall, only to wander through stores that are over crowded with counter tops and fixtures of hanging and over-priced clothing, and to be accosted by overly-eager, commissioned sales people who want to show me this, or let me taste that, or smell this cologne, while I hunt for the ideal gift and then take it to a long line and wait for the cashier to call me from the front of the queue where I can pay an exorbitant price for the item, only to have to return home, to wrap and pack the gift for mailing, and then make the pilgrimage to the post office, where the line is so long and tedious that I can bring a copy of Gone With The Wind, and read all the way up to the "burning of Atlanta," before it is my turn to mail the package! Yikes!
