What’S After Lcd? - Continued

SED: This stands for surface-conduction electron-emitter display. Whereas the old cathode ray tube televisions fired a single electron gun at a phosphor coating, a SED TV fires an electron gun behind every single pixel. These displays take the slim design from flat panel TVs and great picture quality from CRTs (Cathode Ray Tubes) and then put them together to create a fantastic and very impressive TV. A SED screen has huge contrast ratios as well as wide viewing angles. It also has an extremely fast response time which means that motion blurring that you may have seen when watching football will disappear with these screens. Unfortunately, legal battles and company disputes has meant that these screens may not be available for a while yet and may never be released to consumers. If it was to get released, these TV’s would probably only be released to the professional broadcasting community. The drawback to this TV screen is that screen burn may be an issue. That’s where static images left on the screen for too long are burned into the phosphor. There are many TVs out there to choose from at the moment and many are very impressive and visually spectacular but it may only be a couple of short years until we have even more effective and impressive TVs on the market to choose from. If you are looking for a new TV at the moment it is a great idea to shop online as this will enable you to find great deals on the TV of your choice.

LCD TVs and Plasma TVs are both very popular at the moment and there are a lot to choose from. To get a great deal on TVs it’s a good idea to shop online to find the best offers.
